Height Safety Training


Total Height Safety is a national provider of training in all aspects of height, safety and rescue including theatre, mining, construction, defence, arboriculture, telecommunications and power authorities. THS trainers have extensive experience in the field, are highly qualified, dedicated to providing relevant and site specific training of the highest quality and are committed to workplace safety and training. THS training is closely aligned to all the relevant Codes of Practice and Australian standards. THS is a Registered Training Organisation (91022). THS Tower Rescue Assessment
 THS Tower Rescue Assessment (Individual)      $396.00
This assessment process is designed for persons applying for recognised current competency. It allows persons to be assessed for current practical skills and underpinning knowledge. No training is delivered during this process and participants must perform to the required assessment criteria. The Assessment is industry specific and aims to assess participants in Harness Based Tower Rescue Procedures.
Height Safety Awareness and Tower Climbing competencies are a prerequisite for this assessment. Successful participants will receive a statement of attainment.
The instructor to student ratio is 1:4

THS Tower Contractor Course
 THS Tower Climbing and Rescue Course (Individual Booking)      $792.00
This two day course is designed for persons intending to work at height on tower structures. It includes Tower Climbing Techniques and Harness Based Rescue Procedures.
Height Safety Awareness or equivalent is a prerequisite for this course.
Successful participants will receive a statement of attainment.
We recommend a refresher after the 1st year and then every 3 years after that.

THS Tower Contractor Refresher
 THS Tower Climbing & Rescue Refresher (Individual Booking)      $396.00
Refresher training is recommended on a regular basis. It improves knowledge, experience and builds confidence. This one day refresher course is designed for persons that have completed tower climbing and rescue training within the last three years. We require written evidence of the prior training before attending this course. The documented training should be from an external training company. The training is industry specific and aims to assess participants in both Tower Climbing Techniques and Harness Based Rescue Procedures.

THS RF Awareness Course
 THS RF Awareness Course (Individual Booking)      $203.50
This short course is designed for persons who need to work in the vicinity of radio frequency transmitters.
This course includes:
The identification and assessment of RF Hazards.
Legislation, industry guidelines and site specific rules.
Complete a performance check of an RF meter.
Complete a test for RF radiation.
Safe working procedures in RF zones.
The course duration is approximately 4 hours. No previous training or experience is required to attend this course.
This qualification needs to be refreshed every three years.
Minimum class size: Ten.
