HARKEN UMP 500 PORTABLE CAPSTAN WINCH

This versatile portable winch has multiple mounting options for work in difficult or remote environments. The Harken Aluminium Radial Winch features stainless steel load-carrying gears and pins for strength and durability. The 2 speed winch magnifies operator pulling power by up to 40 times. It weighs only 7.0kg and has a working load limit of 500kg for lifting and pulling material loads.The winch is designed for use with synthetic fibre rope with a maximum diameter of 12 mm and is CE certified under EN 13157 (Machinery Directive). The pig tail line lead ensures correct alignment and loading of the winch.No attachments fittings are supplied with the winch. Multiple attachment methods are possible depending on the working environment and the supporting structure. Attachment methods may include ratchet straps, M10 bolts, karabiners, shackles or scaffold clamps.Maximum rated load for lifting and pulling loads is 500 kg and Maximum rated load for human suspension is 250 kg.
